The Last Airbender (2010)

Storyline:

The world is divided into four kingdoms, each represented by the element they harness, and peace has lasted throughout the realms of Water, Air, Earth, and Fire under the supervision of the Avatar, a link to the spirit world and the only being capable of mastering the use of all four elements.    Another Hollywood attempt to convert something great into a movie & ending up with a heaping pile of garbage. Too much focus was given to the 3D effects & not enough to a script that makes sense. The acting is on the same level as a bad 80′s movie. I highly suggest skipping this & watching the cartoon series instead.

   Being a huge fan of the cartoon series I was greatly anticipating this movie. It is good, but you have to separate it from the cartoon in order to really enjoy it. It has a lot of great special effects, but the story is not as strongly written as the cartoon. It is still a good movie and fun to watch tho.
