Nicki Minaj’s ‘Stupid Hoe’ Music Video Is Banned

Onika Tanya Maraj known by her stage name Nicki Minaj is a Trinidadian-born American musician. She was born in Saint James, Trinidad and Tobago, and after that she moved to Queens when she was only five.

While many of her fans group have decided to interpret Nicki Minaj’s music video for “Stupid Hoe” more creatively than others, at that time  BET network is refusing to air the video altogether. TMZ exclusively spoke with a rep for the television network and said that they would not be broadcasting the video. They denied for giving an exact reason for the ban. The company believes that the ban was put in place because the video is just too explicit for TV. Be honest, it kind of makes sense. Raunchy dance moves, scary alien eyes, and offensive lyrics are a risky combination for television.

Whatever the reason is, the network couldn’t have timed this out better. Banning the video now pretty much guarantees everyone and Google will show it to see what all the fuss is about.  They’ll be reminded in BIG PINK LETTERS that Minaj will be performing at the Super Bowl, in this Sunday.
