Kick-Ass (2010)

Storyline:

Dave Lizewski is an unnoticed high school student and comic book fan with a few friends and who lives alone with his father. His life is not very difficult and his personal trials not that overwhelming. However, one day he makes the simple decision to become a super-hero even though he has no powers or training.

   Violence, violence, violence, but in a good way. A funny, over the top movie that’s not for the feint of heart. A (slightly) more realistic view on the vigilante hero movie genre.

   Definitely NOT for kids! That said, I love movies where children cuss. I don’t know why–I just think it’s hilarious. Like monkeys wearing clothes and riding bikes. Hopefully the lead actress won’t grow up scarred and bitter. She’s got real star potential.
