   Like most remakes, this falls drastically short of the original & that is saying a lot considering the original had it’s special effects done with claymation. The special effects for this were ok, but the script bothered me to no end. It took a classic piece of mythology, ran it through a blender & skimmed off the parts it could quickly & easily mash into a story. I’ll stick with the 1981 version, claymation & all thank you very much.
