This became evident after the 23-year-old actress posted a sneak-peak photo on her Twitter account of her character, KillJoy, in a tight, low-cut metallic bra and wearing heavy eye make-up.
Machete Kills, another film directed by Robert Rodriguez, is a far cry from his Spy Kids from 2001. It is the second film in the Machetetrilogy, which began with a fake movie trailer that Rodriguez created for Quentin Tarantino’s Grindhouse in 2007.
In this new film, a man named Machete, played by Danny Trejo, is recruited by the U.S. government and given a mission to fight his way through Mexico and stop the launch of a deadly missile.
The caption to Vega’s new photo she posted on Twitter read, “RR gave the OK for a sneak peek.”
The photo has gotten many fans excited and curious about the new film. For many, it’s just strange to see the transformation from 2001 Vega to the present-day scantily clad actress portrayed in this new photograph.
Questions abound about what her ex-husband, Sean Covel, may think about this racy pic. They were married for about a year and a half and have made headlines due to their recent divorce.
